Responsibilities
* Medical consultation including family, medical history and full physical examination and management of acute and chronic conditions for children coming to clinic.
* Prescription of medications according to national/ international standard treatment protocol
* Provides a referral for severe cases to other specialized facilities.
* Fill standard patient record card for each patient visit.
* Prescribe medication on prescription form
* Fill IMC referral form for any referral case
* Participate in preparation of monthly drug and medical supply order in coordination with other staff.
* Measure and register children nutrition and growth monitoring including children height and weight adhere to HIS documentation and medical report filling as IMC standards
* Other related assignments.

Qualifications
• Minimum medical degree with a Master’s in Pediatrician or General pediatrician.
• Adequate registration with the medical council and/or authorization to work as a doctor from the Ministry of Health, Syria.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
• Minimum of one-three years of experience required as a working doctor.
• Ability to make decisions independently.
• Ability to relate to and motivate local staff effectively.
• Must be able to take on medical/non-medical responsibilities from time to time to cover for other team members.
** Able to travel for training purposes.
