Responsibilities
1.Ability to develop and establish financial policies and
procedures.
2.Create management tools that effectively monitor accounting
processes.
3.Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain
the general ledger.
4.Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting
staff (including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, s,
check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset
activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt
activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.)
5.Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to
document financial transactions.
6.Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy
of posting.
7.Produces financial reports involving accounts for monthly
meetings.
8.Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
9.Produces quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc
financial reports.
10.Ensure reconciliation of Bank accounts and other accounts.
11.Assist the accounting team in preparing balance sheet and
budget reports.
12.Generate various analyses and financial reports for the
management.
13 Monitor and manage the month-end accounting processes.
14.Create and monitor an effective internal audit system.
15.Maintain, update and monitor inventory records.
16.Ensure compliance of all accounting processes to that of the
organization’s goals.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Economic Major in accounting.
At least 5 years of experience in the same position.
CMA is preferable.
At least 5 years of experience in the same position.

above mentioned criteria, and not living in Damascus will be
regretfully neglected.
