Responsibilities
* Develop different capacity building tools which includes hygiene promotion manuals, (Information, Education and communication) materials (IEC) according to the need analysis for different stakeholders.
* Design, deliver and conduct training for targeted beneficiaries including SARC and community volunteers, IMC field staff, and to external agencies/ NGOs as part of program activities.
* Conceptualize additional hygiene promotion training materials for specific audiences such as children.
* Implement, monitor and evaluate tools for all trainings, generate evaluation and feedback reports, impact training statistics, and charts.
* Identify hygiene topics, provide and implement hygiene awareness / promotion / sensitization campaigns on hygiene related topics according to the needs of communities in shelters, open communities and schools.
* Maintain, submit and update all hygiene education registers and reports to the Data WASH Administrative on regular basis.
* Review English-Arabic translation of materials required to be used in training events.
* Provide support to master trainers/ training sessions conducted by trainees (for their agencies/ in the community).
* Report to WASH Program Director.

Qualifications
- Preferably University Degree graduate, either in health, development, community behavior change or communication-related Field.
- Three years previous experience in humanitarian services, mainly in hygiene promotion programs.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Competency:
Essential:
• Have good communication, presentation, coordination and training skills.
• Good computer, software and reporting skills (mainly on power point and excel programs).
• Able to communicate in English and Arabic languages.
Preferable:
• Attended training of trainers and delivered training sessions on hygiene promotion related topics.
• Dynamic and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new areas of work, especially WASH-related subjects.
• Ready to travel to locations in different governorates such as Deir-Ez-Zor, Hasake, Hama, etc.
