Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of the WASH program in HA to ensure the program is implemented according to schedule and budgets, Local & international standards, and that WASH program objectives are met
- Work closely with other AAH sectors and integrate WASH program components to the extent possible.
- Participate in information sharing in the development of proposals, budgets and concept notes in coordination with the other project officers in Hassakeh.
- Monitor materials, equipment and supplies for technical work.
- Monitor and evaluate appropriate implementation of projects against program objectives and AAH’s Program Framework.
-Participate actively in building capacity of DOW’s staff in work plan development and reporting to ensure accurate monitoring and documentation of activities.
- Recommend a capacity building/development plan for DOW staff based on documented capacity needs assessments exercise.
- Ensure DOW staff understands and follows AAH and donor Policies and Procedures.
- Management of AAH staff under his/her management and contribute to their capacity building.
- Manage and oversee all WASH grants; develop and maintain work, spending and procurement plans for all projects from Hassakeh.
- Participate in Grants Opening, Mid-Term and Closing meetings
- Prepare internal reports within agreed deadlines using AAH‘s and donor formats, as required.


Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in any relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in humanitarian field.
- Knowledge of WASH concepts, programs, indicators and strategies.
- Very good command of both Arabic and English languages.
- Very good Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
