Responsibilities
1. Contribute in identifying Syriatel risks by analyzing and evaluating them and developing the related mitigation plans in cooperation with all concerned Departments.
2. Follow up the implementation of risks mitigation action plans and report their status to Business Continuity and Risk Management Head of Section on a monthly basis.
3. Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) exercise, by analyzing the interruption impact of business services/ activities and information systems, and define the recovery objectives and propose alternative solutions accordingly.
4. Follow up the implementation of taken corrective and preventive actions related to service interruptions plans.
5. Propose business continuity plans (incidents / disaster response and recovery plans) including the roles and responsibilities to Business Continuity and Risk Management Head of Section.
6. Coordinate with HR-Training team to conduct field training to Syriatel employees who involved in the business continuity plans.
7. Follow up the implementation of business continuity plans, coordinate their periodic rehearsals, evaluate their results, and suggest corrective actions.
8. Conduct rehearsals to test the readiness of the team and the adequacy of business continuity plans and report the rehearsals results to Business Continuity and Risk Management Head of Section.
9. Maintain (risk register, BIA report, etc.) updated.
10. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
11. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
12. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.


Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer /IT /Telecom Engineering /Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2. Experience: 1-2 years of IT / Telecom experience in a relevant field is required, preferably in Telecom.
3. Professional Certification: N/A
