• Develop a detailed implementation plan for all WASH activities related to the project in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Ensure that the program is implemented in a consultative, participative and gender sensitive way
• Provide technical oversight on all aspects of the WASH program including adherence to Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR) and WASH sector standards.
• Develop simple training material and guidelines for ADRA Field Staff
• Coordinate closely all activities with MOWR, SARC, UNICEF, the WASH sector and other stakeholders to ensure a harmonized approach and avoid any overlap in assistance
• Submit a weekly report on all project activities, progress, challenges and plans for the following week
• Submit a monthly report to the Project Manager including progress towards indicators, challenges and plans for the following month
• Undertake regular monitoring visits to all project sites to provide technical support to the teams

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in implementing/supervising water and sanitation projects.
• Technical background or experience working with water and sanitation projects.
• Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills sensitive to the cultural environment
• Good computer skills
• Ability and willingness to work and travel under hardship conditions
• Be culturally sensitive, friendly and caring
• English skills an advantage
