- Establishes and regularly updates standards and long term programs for preventive maintenance of production lines, machines & facilities.
- Develops and implements maintenance standards, work procedures and preventive maintenance objectives.
- Projects preventive maintenance needs and recommends annual budget items; monitors budget.
- Evaluates bids and recommends selection of contractor or vendor.
-Ensure optimum allocation of capital and maintenance resources through work order prioritization in support of system demands and business objectives.
-Provide technical direction and assistance to support activities of maintenance personnel.
-Support continuous improvement of maintenance activities for unit and equipment outages (planning, execution, follow-up).
-Review equipment maintenance records for accuracy and pertinence for equipment history.
- Review work order/equipment maintenance trends; integrate industry trends to predict maintenance requirements
-Develop maintenance recommendations in support of asset role and business objectives. Provide information and assist in the development of plant budget, operating, and investment plans.
- Support inventory optimization using risk analysis and parts availability in conjunction with vendor partnering.
-Provide reporting of maintenance work progress, associated cost information, and labor allocation.
-Perform other duties as assigned by Manager, Maintenance Services
