Responsibilities
- Hand over the site from DOH (Directorate of Health) in Rural
Damascus.
- Supervise the implementation processes of the terms of the
contract and make sure they meet the book of technical
conditions.
- Follow-up the progress of work according to the time plan in
the contract and prepare the reports about that.
- Supervise and participate in all required material’s
test
- Supporting preparing technical specification, drawings, and
Bill of quantities for any required modification if
requested.
- Verification that supplied items meets the technical offer
(Quantity and Quality)
- Liaison with the representative of DoH in Rural Damascus.
- On location liaison with the representative of municipality.
- Take photographs for work progress as part of record keeping,
email on request to Medair Damascus office.
- Preparing weekly progress report.
- Preparing work of statement for the contractors.
- Preparing quantity survey record for works done.
- Hand over back the site to DOH.
- Participate in acceptance procedures and prepare acceptance
report and make sure it be signed from all the related
authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil or Architect Engineering.
- At least 5 years related professional experience
(rehabilitation work).
- Experience in PHC rehabilitation works.
- Experience in site supervision and working with contractors
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, in particular Word,
Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of working in Rural Damascus especially Eastern
Ghota .
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- NGO Experience.
- Good networking ability
- Native Arabic speaker – excellent written and oral
communications.
- English – acceptable oral and written communication.

Salary and Benefits
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Medair Salary Scale for Short Term Staff.
