Responsibilities
The Coordinator will function supervising the work of the SGBV case managers and volunteers in the Centres and providing on-job coaching and technical support.
The Coordinator will also review and consolidate the monthly plan and reports produced by the case managers and share them with UNHCR accordingly.

The coordinator will carry out the individual case management,
Flan prevention activities, provide support and follow up for the women committees,
Follow up on the implementation of prevention and response activities carried out by the SGBV ORVs.
Identify and receive Persons of Concern (PoC) from social workers, outreach volunteers or/and other frontline workers’/service providers.
Conduct an assessment to identify SGBV needs, risks (through individual counselling) as well as adequate services, including referral to specific SGBV services (ex: legal, clinical or PSS services)
Develop an action/care plan jointly with the survivor and the primary network (if appropriate for the context). Coordinate with other focal points and service providers in the community center to ensure multi-sectorial and comprehensive plans (ex: VT, SSBP)
Refer cases to specific services (internal and external) to meet their needs according to the jointly developed care plan.
Follow up on the referrals to other services outside the community center through direct contact with service providers and/or through the PoC (if appropriate for the context).
Conduct mapping of services, in cooperation with the SGBV ORVs in the catchment area to ensure efficient referrals and update the map periodically.
Follow up on the implementation of the care plan until the cases are closed.
Evaluate the outcomes of the care plan and amend it accordingly.
Update of case management database complying with the standards of information management. Ensure updated documentation of the cases using appropriate forms (soft/hard) as per the SOPs.
Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of the POC including record keeping.
Assist with the design and planning of SGBV awareness activities and methodologies of implementation. Facilitate and support the SGBV ORVs in conducting SGBV awareness sessions.
Carry out the identification of committees’ members in line with the SOPs and conduct regular meetings with the committee members.
Build the capacity and provide support for the committees in generating and implementing community based initiatives.
Provide the SGBV coordinator with analytical and quantitative reports with disaggregated data (i.e. incident recorder) on monthly basis.
Alert and report to the SGBV coordinator at the central level whenever there is a complex case which cannot be addressed in an effective manner
Work closely and coordinate with the VT, and SSBP focal points for additional interventions.
Ensure close collaboration and substantial coordination with CP case management for cases of children survivors of SGBV in all steps of the case management cycle (identification, development of care plan, follow up, and closure)
Participate in relevant trainings and attend meetings as required.
Perform any other related duties as required.


Qualifications
- with a background in social and humanitarian work and education
- Previous experience in SGBV case management work
- Previous experience with humanitarian organization
- Experience using MS Office package
- Ability to plan activities, follow up with concerned personnel
- Good reporting skills
