Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assessment Phase:
- Participate in technical assessment and estimate required quantities.
- Define the location of beneficiaries’ houses on the map.
- On location liaison with the representative of municipality.
- Take photos as part of record keeping, email on request to Medair Damascus office.
- Supporting preparing technical specification, drawings, and Bill of quantities if requested.
- Implementation and handing over phase:
- Supervise the implementation processes of the terms of the contract and make sure they meet the book of technical conditions.
- Follow-up the progress of work according to the time plan in the contract and prepares the reports about that
- Verification that supplied items meets the technical offer (Quantity and Quality)
- On location liaison with the representative of municipality.
- Take photographs for work progress as part of record keeping, email on request to Medair Damascus office.
- Quantify survey for works done.
- Preparing weekly progress report.
- Preparing work of statement for the contractors.
- Participate in acceptance certificate and to be signed from all the related authorities and stakeholders.

- Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect .
- Knowledge of working in Rural Damascus Governorate.
- At least 5 years related professional experience (rehabilitation work).
- Experience in shelter works.
- Experience with site supervision and working with contractors
- Native Arabic speaker – excellent written and oral communications.
- English – acceptable oral and written communication.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- NGO Experience.
- Good networking ability
