The Service Provider agrees to provide the following services as part of Medair's field team in Damascus & Rural Damascus, including:
Verification Tasks:
1.Attend ODK training prior traveling to the field.
2.Testing ODK form on the tablet prior traveling to the field and reporting to PLSO on any gaps or discrepancy if exist
3.Receiving a fully charged tablet and hard copy of beneficiary list and ensuring that the received items are kept safe and properly returned to PSLO at the end of each working day.
4.Traveling to the field of daily basis as per locations identified by PLSO/Infra Manager in order to collect required beneficiary data (soft, hard or both)
5.Accurate use of ODK based surveys for HH visit documentation
6.Thoroughly examine HH documents
7.Properly issue HH coupons and make sure that they are consistent with the data collected.
8.Prepare all maps, reports and data spreadsheets required by by PLSO/infrastructure officer
9.Attend all meeting requested by PLSO.
10.Report to PLSO on any complaints made by beneficiaries during verification
11.Other tasks that may be assigned prior to distribution
12.Other tasks that may be assigned prior to distribution.
Distribution of shelter & winter kit Tasks:
1.traveling to field locations on daily basis as instructed by PLSO/infrastructure officer
2.Coordinate with Medair field focal point to prepare distribution plan and assign locations for each distribution team
3.Collecting all issued HH coupons after the beneficiaries check their Kits and sign and date the HH coupons.
4.Prepare all distribution reports as requested by PLSO/Infra Officer
5.Matching collected HH coupons with distributed kits on daily basis and directly report to PSLO in case any discrepancies are sported.
6.Attend all meeting requested by PLSO/infrastructure officer.
7.Report to PLSO on any complaints made by beneficiaries during distribution
8.Other tasks that may be requested during distribution.

You will need to be fast-learners, able to do some data entry if needed on tablets (i.e. able to use a smart phone), adhere to Medair values, adopt humanitarian principles, and would like to join with an International Organization on a short-term basis to experience what it is like to work in the humanitarian field. Basic English required. Some humanitarian experience is desirable but not essential.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Medair Salary Scale for Short Term Staff
