Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with stakeholders on matters related to implementation of Oxfam projects in the governorate (international organization , local organization, local authorities ..);
- Hold regular meeting of the working group (local organization and volunteers) to organize the work and to promote sharing of information and share the Minutes of meeting with Programs Manager;
- Attend the coordination meeting of the EFSVL sector in the governorate and represent Oxfam Through prior Coordination with Oxfam Office;
Technical and Operational Support to project design and implementation:
- Support the partners to objectively and impartially assess the food security and livelihood needs of the population in the targeted areas in governorate in coordination with concerned authorities and operating organizations;
- Support partners to implement project activities according to global humanitarian minimum standards and best practice;
- Support partners and Oxfam team by sharing information between partners and facilitating smooth coordination to facilitate their work;
- Identify training needs of partners’ teams in the field and coordinate with EFSVL PM to arrange access to training opportunities;
- Liaise with local government officials to agree on ways of working and local access to communities for project implementation;
- Oversee the implementation of Oxfam activities through partners to ensure quality and minimum standards are upheld;
Reports:
- Prepare activity reports detailing the process and progress of specific tasks, e.g. the needs assessment;
- Prepare and share progress reports with Oxfam PM on a monthly basis;
- Report any incident that must be brought to Oxfam's attention;
Documentation:
- Strictly adhere to Oxfam s data protection standards for beneficiary, partner and staff data held for project purposes;
- Archive documents relating to the projects implemented (soft and hard copies) and share them with team if requested;
- Collaborate with the Communications team to document project progress through photographs, videos or blogs or facilitate access of communications staff to field locations for data collection;

- Previous experience in livelihoods implementation is essential.
- Working level of English is desirable, as is working with partners.
- Experience carrying out assessments and implementing cash based programmes including vouchers.

As Oxfam is in the process to start implementation of EFSVL program in Aleppo, and currently we are recruiting project based focal point.
This is not an employment or full-time contract, the person will provide services based on agreed terms of reference.

While Oxfam has been present in the region since 1970, it began operating in Syria through its Damascus based presence in July 2013. Since then, Oxfam has been responding to both the urgent WASH needs for vulnerable people, and has been working on the rehabilitation of water systems in order to provide durable, more sustainable solutions to the affected populations. Interventions implemented under Oxfam's WASH Programme include: Provision of Acute Emergency Life-Saving WASH Services, Rehabilitation of Water Systems, Hygiene Promotion and Water Conservation, Capacity Building and Training, and Improved Emergency WASH Coordination. To date, Oxfam has been worked in 10 governorates, seeking out to over 2.5 million beneficiaries.
