In order to facilitate and strengthen WHO emergency field presence in all governorates in the Syrian Arab Republic to perform financial and administrative support services.
• Preparation of the polio, measles and other vaccination campaigns’ budgets and insure their adherence to the distributed micro plans and similar activities under other areas of WHO technical presence in each governorate.
Monitoring cash flow for governorate campaigns.
Monitoring of budget estimates according to the plan.
Records disbursement of funds to participants according to the approved budget.
Record all expenses and receipts.
Prepare the financial reports at the end of the campaign not later than one month of the date of the actual campaign.
Reconcile the campaigns
Delivered all campaign documents to WHO office in time.
• Prepare appropriate payment schedules for training activities (workshops, training courses, meetings … etc.) in close collaboration with Finance Unit to administer payments and activities with concerned technical units.
• Provide technical focal points with the required information and regular updates on purchase order balances to facilitate the preparation of budgetary estimates for activities.
• Assist in organizing meetings, workshops and training activities, follow up with logistics units regarding arrangements, typing documents and presentations, sending letters to participants, photocopying and preparing files and provide secretarial support during meetings.

Essential: Completion of Secondary Education supplemented by secretarial/ administrative training
Desirable: University Degree in Business Administration, social sciences or related field is an asset.

Experience:
Essential: At least five 3 years progressive experience in secretarial/ financial/ administrative work.
Desirable: Related experience in the UN system.

Monthly fee – 800 USD – Payments to be made monthly based on technical reports. Last payment requires financial statement.
