Responsibilities
-Ensure proper procedures for the receiving and organizing persons of concern who approach the center to attend registration Interviews.
-Collect the basic bio-data of the persons of concern approaching the center and update the data of the already registered individuals
-Record other information and on both family/household and individual levels including, among others, profile, address, documents, occupation, education and the clear vulnerabilities
-Conduct an assessment for the situation of each family/individual(s) approaching the center for registration , to detect all the factors affecting their protection and refer the relevant family/individual (s) to the proper service (s) / focal point accordingly
-Conduct registration outside the community center, when needed, through home visits for the cases that can't approach the center for vulnerability reason and live within the catchment areas of the centers
-Ensure Proper follow up for the cases referred to registration from other staff Within the center for registration related actions
-Ensure the availability and the proper storage of all is registration related materials in close collaboration with administrative assistant
-Act as a focal point for information management, when needed.
-Ensure compliance with UNHCR Data protection policy while conducting the different tasks mentioned above, particularly the respect of confidentiality of the information provided by the persons of concern
-Participate in relevant trainings and attend meetings as required.
-any other related duties as required


Qualifications
-University degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, guidance or any other related degree in social development or emergency/ crisis response and /or humanitarian relief aid
-Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience
-Excellent English and Arabic language skills both written and spoken
-Substantial experience working with International NGOs, UN agencies
-Demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling and casework
