Responsibilities
-Receive requests for assistive devices directly from the POCs, the ORVs or other staff in the community centers/PHC Clinics
-Asses the eligibility of the request of the requirements /conditions to benefit from General In Kind Assistance(MIKA) as stated in the SOP
-Initiate the procurement order within 48 hours of the request, and follow up with the responsible staff to ensure the procurement is completed
-Ensure that the requested item is purchased within a recommended time frame of one week (5- 6 working days)
-Obtain the approval of MIKA team in UNHCR when the cost of the device is above the ceiling and before the procurement process takes place
-Deliver the item directly to the POC, or indirectly through the outreach volunteers
-Ensure, when the need of the device (MIKA) is temporary ,its return, stocking and readiness to be used by other POCs
-Document the item provided and obtain a receipt signed by the POC , stating the date and the item received
-Monitor the use of the items delivered within the first 3-6 months of delivery, directly and through the outreach volunteers, and document the outcome accordingly
-Report on the services provided monthly as per UNHCR MIKA reporting standard template
-Report on the services provided and beneficiaries’ needs on regular basis to the community center coordinator
-Keep up to date records of the services provided
-Participate in relevant training and attend meetings as required.
-Perform any other related duties as required


Qualifications
- University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function in addition to knowledge in purchasing, warehousing, fleet and facility administration.
- Good competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills.
- Team-working skills.
- Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
- Attention to detail and excellent numeracy.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to keep clear and concise records.
- Very good comment in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
