Responsibilities
- Key Role : to have somebody that will provide ARAK process flow, detailed with specification, parameter & dosages for all ingredients, parameter & treatments applied at each stage in order to have stable product at different % vol, into the bottle. (The technical
- List of Responsibilities:
• To ensure evaluation of ARAK production feasibility in our actual distillation plant (having in mind not only the technical restrictions/adjustments, but also the other products we need to distill)
• To provide equipment design and process diagram, integrated &/or separately to the actual distillation plant, that will ensure a good & stable ARAK, with a very good efficiency
• To provide the technical specification of each equipment and assist in selection & sourcing them
• To provide the full details of the ARAK production process , following the machinery & technical support, full work flow (from raw material to final distillate), characteristics of ingredients, semi finish obtained at every step and machinery involved, storage & maturation method (if needed), preparation method (dilution, blending, filtering, etc) and bottling etc
• To provide quality & stability testing procedure, as well as the critical points into the process flow and the parameters to be verified and monitor, including method of determination (from row material to storage), in order to obtain a good product respecting organoleptic/ physic -chemical characteristics of the original ARAK (grape & anise distillate)
• To verify if our production facility and internal lab can assist correctly and entirely the process & parameters to monitor . In case not, to provide assistance in adjusting the process & machinery accordingly.
• To provide the Product specification of all ingredients (grapes/grape distillate, anise, water, yeast, enzyme, etc), their recommended dosage & all needed instruction of usage (temperature, gravity, debit, time, etc)
• To assist into Equipment installation & to supervise the first distillation runs in order to meet the quality and efficiency requirements
• To provide training into “ distillation & recipe options in order to obtain different ARAK (taste & elegance wise)
• To assist in due time ,verbally and in written, to any requests related to arak process , any deviations or faulty issues might appear on the way

Qualifications
o Position: Consultant for the Master distiller in an Arak plant
o Knowledge: Distillation Process & Arak Recipes, technical knowledge would be a plus
o Language: English speaker, would be a plus
