• Monitor Material Resources Planning (MRP) suggestions, analyze supply order and propose recommendations to improve forecasting.
• Based on the MRP system, create draft for purchase orders, transfers orders and work orders.
• Set and update the MRP system parameters and item settings (lead time, planner number, planning code, order-policy code, etc.).
• Lead the demand-planning process and contribute in defining the supply network in Syria.
• Responsible for the delegation figures, propose and monitor buffer stock based on their analysis.
• Raise awareness of the costs associated with the delegation’s stock-management policy and the benefits of good planning.
• Contribute to the stock-management policy and align it with the work of the Regional Supply-Chain Planner.

• University degree.
• 6 years of experience in a similar field.
• Computer proficiency and ability to run specialized software. Experience with enterprise resource planning systems is an asset.
• Experience in logistics.
• Experience in planning and forecasting
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization, which has been permanently present in Syria since 1967. The ICRC works closely and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) organization to provide food, water, healthcare and other forms of relief assistance to people affected by the fighting. The ICRC also visits people detained and helps them to stay in contact with their families. This service is also provided to families separated as a result of the fighting.
