Responsibilities
- To be engaged in the development and implementation of MHPSS programs from a technical stand point.
- Provide technical support, supervision, advice for focal point / CP trainers ensure quality of MHPSS programming and services as per IMC and IASC standards.
- Work with IMC MHPSS staff in the field and through the technical focal points/ supervisors to ensure quality of MHPSS programming and services as per IMC and IASC MHPSS, GBV standards.
- Follow the development of the CP AoR and feed updated information the IMC’s operations and trainings’ materials
- Develop close coordination with and support the MHPSS Coordinator on technical materials, training materials assessment reports, supervision and monitoring tools, data collection and improvement measurement tools for all IMC MHPSS programs according to the specific program implementation plan.
- Meet with MHPSS Manager on a monthly basis to plan activities, resources required and support.
- Work closely with IMC senior program staff on identification of new MHPSS programs and address the gaps in existing services and programming.
- Support and assist MHPSS Coordinator in recruitment of qualified staff as per MHPSS program needs especially for MHPSS technical focal points/ trainers / supervisors.
- Conduct capacity building for IMC staff and UNHCR national partners.
- Support in the identification of training needs, training material development, and facilitation of training.
- Prepare donor reports as required on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual basis
- Conduct field visits whenever needed and as requested by the MHPSS Coordinator to ensure optimal quality and implementation of activities.


Qualifications
- University education in psychology, Master’s level in any psychological field is desirable.
- Proven experience in trainings’ facilitation
- Proven experience in proposal drafting and reports
- At least 2 year-experience working for an international organization in the humanitarian sector
- Preferred experience working as a case manager or psychologist in the field
- Preferred experience in Supervising Psychologists and counselors
- Good knowledge of IASC guidelines for MHPSS and GBV through professional experience
