Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of fields projects coordinator, lead the implementation of assigned projects (emergency and early recovery) implemented in Syria, and contribute feeding data and information to develop strategies for ongoing and future interventions in Syria, supporting AAH Syria Mission in its mandate.
• To ensure successful implementation of assigned projects according to AAH and humanitarian agreed standards and protocols, as well as to validated plans, budget and time-frames.
• To contribute building the capacity of AAH and implementing partner staff according to the needs identified.
• To ensure the efficient and effective management of the staff of assigned projects.
• To contribute in developing and implementing strategies and programming in the mission.

Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Two years of professional experience in the development or humanitarian field as project manager or similar.
- Strong Knowledge in result-based management.
- Knowledge of Humanitarian principles.
- Knowledge of emergency as well as early recovery interventions.
- Knowledge of The Sphere Project (minimum standards).
- Very good reporting skills.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
- Excellent Organization and Planning skills.

- Management of human resources assigned to the project/projects.
- Ability to travel.
