Under the direct supervision of Health & Nutrition Emergency Officer the incumbent will:
1. Support efforts to ensure the availability of accurate, complete and up-to-date information required for planning and implementation of effective health and nutrition interventions in Raqqa and IDPs sites in Hasakeh and Der Ezzor.
2. Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the selected health & nutrition interventions through following-up on implementation with different partners, with special focus on gender-specific monitoring, local conditions and resources, flow of supply and non-supply assistance of ORGANIZATION under health & nutrition projects.
3. Analyze collected data and information on the health situation of women and children in Raqqa and IDP sites in Hasakeh and Der Ezzor and prepare progress reports using agreed upon indicators; assist in identification of required supplies and equipment for Qamishli assuring accuracy and consistency with established rules, regulations and plans of action.
4. Promote knowledge sharing and prepare needed inputs from Raqqa and IDPs sites in Hasakeh and Der Ezzor for Sitreps and donors report for health & nutrition project.
5. Team with local government counterparts and local NGOs to exchange information on health & nutrition project implementation and status as well as movement and distribution of supplies.
6. Help coordinate with other ORGANIZATION projects in Raqqa and IDP sites in Hasakeh and Der Ezzor, namely WASH to implement hygiene promotion joint interventions, involving all potential partners and local community.
7. Undertakes regular field visits to monitor projects/programmes, immunization activities, emergency response and intervention in all locations in Qamishli area of responsibility especially in the camps. Field monitoring will focus on:
a. Assessing project/programme implementation according to the PCA (Programme Cooperation Agreement) or SSFA (Small‐Scale Funding Agreement);
b. Verification of supplies delivered, any delays and bottlenecks;
c. Post‐distribution monitoring of supplies to assess the beneficiaries’ views in terms of quality, timeliness and relevance of supplies delivered.
8. Within 5 days following the field visit the facilitator produces a field trip report according to the standard format and submits the report to the respective Chief of Field Office for further Dissemination and action by the relevant persons.
9. Coordination and leading vaccination projects and implementation inside Raqqa, IDP sites in Hasakeh and Der EZzor with the support from health and nutrition emergency officer.

1. University degree in the discipline of Medicine from a recognized University, with 3 years of progressively responsible work in health, of which at least one year is closely related to implementation of programme activities.
2. Knowledge of English and Arabic are mandatory.
3. Excellent skills on Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
4. Ability to work in multinational environment.
