Responsibilities
Be present in the assigned camp of Areesha on a regular basis to:
•In close consultation with ORGANIZATION, facilitate coordination of service provision and other defined camp activities.
•Monitor the implementation and maintenance of camp infrastructure projects
•Gather information on shelter and infrastructure gaps to enable ORGANIZATION’s decision making for suitable interventions
•Monitor service provision in all actors of the camp according to agreed upon guidelines, standards and indicators.
•Build good relationships with all actors present in the camp to facilitate networking and information gathering that could enhance the humanitarian assistance provided
•Facilitate joint assessments, needs analysis and identification of gaps though providing gathered information
•On a day to day basis, facilitators will report to their ORGANIZATION focal points
•Facilitators will prepare analytical report on the information gathered in accordance with the established weekly work plans


Qualifications
•University degree in civil engineering or in a field related to the scope of work.
•Fluency in Arabic, and preferably good knowledge of written and oral English.
•At least five years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in project/programme management, monitoring and reporting.
•Experience in collecting and compiling quantitative and qualitative data is an asset.
•Experience working in a humanitarian context.
•Experience working with UN or NGO programmes/projects is an asset.

•Good communication and networking skills, including the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams as well as establishing and maintaining close working relationships with a variety of implementing partners and counterparts at different levels.
•Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications.
