Responsibilities
•Assist in managing the monitoring measurement and evaluation of the program and in overseeing the work of the monitoring and evaluation team
•Assist in the design and execution of M&E methodology that tracks with the established project Results Framework
•Collect, input, analyze, and disseminate accurate data according to the indicators in the Result Framework
•Assist in overseeing the design and development of data collection tools and forms to guarantee timely, valid and reliable data collection at the field level
•Review, analyze, and evaluate monitoring reports and identify the cause of potential bottleneck in program implementation
•Assist in overseeing the data collection for indicators feeding the learning agenda
•Assist in organizing trainings on M&E topics
•Play as a team member maintaining the culture of shared success, joint accountability and commitment to achieving project M&E deliverables - on time, on target and on budget
•Collaborate with implementing staff on qualitative and monitoring to provide relevant information for ongoing evaluation of program activities
•Ensure activities, results, challenges and lessons learned are accurately documented in a timely manner and are available to all key stakeholders
•Assist in the development of systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators
•Organize and coordinate lessons learnt of program work plans with stakeholders
•Develop and maintain effective information database on projects, providing resource and necessary support for program inputs and outputs
•Carry out systematic field visits to projects and inspect the implementation process to ensure that all works are done in compliance to SIF standards
•Monitor completed projects to verify that they deliver the expected services fully to the community for the expected period of time
•Develop program and operational reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of information in programs
•Responsible for all reporting needs for the program
•Contribute to the overall efforts of M&E Team to develop and strengthen the monitoring & evaluation procedures;
•Assist in the design and development of M&E data collection tools and forms to ensure timely, valid and reliable data collection at the field level;
•Collect, analyze, and disseminate data according to the impact indicators for the project success;
•Carry out routine field visits to projects’ sites and inspect the project implementation activities towards the achievement of results;
•Submit field collected data to M&E Officer on regular basis;
•Feed data into M&E Data base;
•Collaborate with project staff on monitoring activities to provide relevant information for ongoing evaluation of project activities;
•Share challenges and lessons learned in a timely manner with the Issue Log & Risk Log Focal Point;
