Responsibilities
1. The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
2. The ability to offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence, food quality, professionalism and friendliness.
3. The ability to follow the established procedures to ensure correct and efficient order-taking while providing courteous and helpful information on the telephone.
4. The ability to use the guest's name at least three times during each conversation.
5. The ability to offer quick, correct, precise and friendly service that is respectful and accommodating of the guest's requests of selections and timeliness of service.
6. The ability to coordinate with the kitchen for smooth service.
7. The ability to make the guest feel comfortable and at ease in his/her room.
8. The ability to control the cleanliness in the room service areas.
9. The ability to keep accurate control of guest checks, credit vouchers, currency and posting procedures.
10. The ability to record all guest charges, gratuities and cash transactions accurately.
11. The ability to maintain a Room Service control sheet so the Room Service Manager knows when an order was taken, delivered and retrieved and by whom.
12. The ability to inform the manager or assistant of all customer complaints and makes appropriate efforts to correct the problem.
13. The ability to set up orders on trays and tables and transport them to guest floors and rooms.
14. The ability to complete opening and closing side-work as assigned.
15. The ability to remove trays and tables from the guest rooms when requested.
16. The ability to handle "Do Not Disturb" rooms, guest do not answer or the wrong items were delivered or forgotten.
17. The ability to set up the lobby coffee service.
18. The ability to handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
19. The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.
20. The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
21. The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
22. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
23. The ability to break down the trays and tables in the dish washing area and to re/stock the clean items
24. The ability to maintain a close working relationship with the stewarding department and help each other in all kind of respects
25. The ability to stock linen, china, silver and glassware for service
26. The ability to ensure all silver equipment is in good condition and polished.
27. The ability to scrape and stack all dishes properly and rack all glassware
28. The ability to maintain and retrieve all food items from the kitchen and attractively, safely transport them to the Room Service area and place them in a hot box.
29. The ability to properly clear and crumb tables according to Four Seasons' standards.
30. The ability to pre-soak all silver with use of aluminum foil and soil master.
31. The ability to properly operate the dish machine safely and neatly, changing the water at least once every 21/2 hours.
32. The ability to ensure clean, neat and organized breakdown station.
33. The ability to handle folding tables adequately and safely.
34. The ability to handle dirty linen appropriately, pushing full cart down to the laundry..
35. The ability to deliver supplies to the Department.
36. The ability to break down the trays and tables in the dish washing area and to re/stock the clean items


Qualifications
1.Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, Arabic would be beneficial.
2. 1-2 year’s food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience.
3.Excellent knowledge of food, preparation and beverages

* Pushing/pulling room service trays and ice machine (walking in slight forward bend position)
* Carrying: trays (unilateral over shoulder with wrist in full extension) and hot boxes (traction carry with hook grip)
* Lifting hot boxes 24" to table top (forward bend, side bend and squatting)

* Gross grasp
* Sitting to fold napkins
