Responsibilities
As a responsible member of the Syria Response Team, to manage the varying information as to provide effective, efficient and timely information management support to the Syria WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) response programme
• Closely work with MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) team, understand and structure information systems around MEAL frameworks and TOCs
• Assists in the development of, and ensures the implementation of Oxfam’s information flows within the Syria WASH Response Programme, as well as with the other Oxfam Syria programmes which will link more closely over the course of the year.
• Implements updates and maintenance of databases and 4W (Who, Where, What, When).
• Systemise and manage key external data useful for Oxfam WASH programme.
• Works closely with Technical team leaders and the WASH Program Manager to assist in ensuring compliance with Oxfam information systems.
• Institute reporting tracking systems, coordinate and compile reporting on projects achievement
• Compile bi weekly/monthly numeric achievements and project indicators and ensure reporting submitted to on time and to high standards
• Synthesise and analyse complex information and present it in a simplified way for understanding across board - with excellent data presentation skills.


Qualifications
• Degree Level – Knowledge of Data base (Advance Access/Excel) as well as relevant experience required.
• Degree in engineering desirable
• Desirable knowledge of database ,archive and GIS software
• Good written and spoken Arabic and English is essential.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to get a message across to others in an appropriate way
• Attention to detail, written and numerical

To date, Oxfam has been worked in 10 government, seeking out to over 2.5 million beneficiaries.
