Responsibilities
. Work with communities and partners to assess the water sanitation & rehabilitation needs of potential shelters.
. Develop draft BOQ and TORs for contractors taking into consideration access issues for men, women, boys and girls, and people with disabilities.
. Propose additional facilities as required by the shelter residents to meet MoLA and Shelter and WASH sector guidelines
. Supervise the work of the contractors, ensuring the quality, accuracy and efficiency of the work.
. Provide regular reports and support to the Project Manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, architecture, or related field.
Specific Vacancy Requirements
. At least 5 years' experience performing similar tasks.
. Technical background or experience working with construction, water and sanitation projects an advantage.
. Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills sensitive to the cultural environment.
. Good computer skills.
. Ability and willingness to work and travel under hardship conditions.
. Be culturally sensitive, friendly and caring.
. English skills an advantage
