Responsibilities
Responsible for Water and Habitat purchases and accordingly the quality control management that comes along with it, as defined by the organization.
 Ensure that all purchase order files are compiled according to ICRC procedures in coordination with responsible person(s) from the logistics department.
 Resolve issues/problems related to the delivery of goods, including discrepancies between purchase orders and items/quantities shipped or received
 Ensure to review procurement requests to assure appropriateness of technical specifications and seek clarifications, if required.


Qualifications
• Bachelor in Electromechanical engineering or Civil engineering
Years of Experience:
 At least 3 years working experience in the field of Water and Habitat.
 2 years of work experience in Concrete Structures or Civil Engineering.
 Or 2 years of work experience in electromechanical engineering projects
 Logistics experience with a good knowledge of the local and regional market in relation to Water and Habitat related materials.
 Experience within the field of Purchasing.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

The ICRC also visits people detained and helps them to stay in contact with their families. This service is also provided to families separated as a result of the fighting.
