Responsibilities
Contribute to SIF Syria Strategy Development, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation
•Mainstreaming AAP in development and implementation of SIF in-country strategies, its associated procedures and tools
•Contribute to SIF Syria strategies monitoring and evaluation through AAP related-indicator collection and report to Program Coordinator
•Provide capacity building linked to mainstreaming AAP in SIF in-country strategies (CSP, PSEA, CFM, etc.), to SIF staff & partners
Contribute to ensure efficient SIF Child Safeguarding Policy (CSP) & PSEA implementation
•Understand, adhere and monitor the implementation of the organization’s Child Safeguarding and PSEA policies
•Act as main Focal Point for SIF CSP and PSEA policy for SIF HQ
•Coordinate with relevant focal points in the field the update of CSP and PSEA risk mapping, develop a mitigation plan and ensure its implementation
•Develop and implement a CSP and PSEA annual implementation plan at the Mission level
•Support integration of CSP and PSEA policy in SIF Syria mission procedures, including developing, organising and sharing technical tools for CSP & PSEA activities
•Contribute to sensitisation and training of CSP and SEA for SIF staff in Syria, in particular other Focal points through Training of Trainers (ToT)
•Contribute to sensitisation of SIF partners and service providers to SIF AAP policies and their implementation
•Contribute to sensitisation of People of Concerns (PoC) supported by SIF projects
•Capitalise both internally and externally on child safeguarding and SEA experience
•Contribute to development of child safeguarding and SEA incidents guidelines, as part of the overall CFM system
•Contribute to child safeguarding and SEA incident management
•Handle sensitive information in line with SIF CSP and PSEA policy
•Ensure personal and sensitive information of children and vulnerable persons is kept in a safe place to avoid access of irrelevant persons
Contribute to SIF Syria Projects’ Accountability

•Support development of new projects’ proposals with AAP focus in response to calls for funding, ensuring integration of lessons learnt from previous projects & sector priorities
•Contribute to the internal and external reporting tools monitoring the progress AAP components
•Ensure the planning & timely implementation of AAP components, in particular the Complaints and Feedback Mechanism (CFM) as per SIF procedures and policies
•Lead the development and improvement of a comprehensive and child-friendly CFM
•Participate in the management of AAP cases and ensure that the best interests of the persons involved are upheld, safeguarding confidentiality and securing participation of all stakeholders.
•Provide procedure outcome & feedback to persons involved in all AAP procedures.
•Capitalize on the data collected and attend periodical lessons learnt meetings to improve AAP component delivery & quality during and after the end of the projects
•Capitalize on AAP technical expertise through detailed capitalisation documenting and capacity building of relevant staff
•Comply with SIF guidelines for Data Protection
Ensure coordination with external stakeholders on AAP such as governmental institutions, sectors, working groups and SIF partners

•Develop and maintain a network and mapping of AAP specialists in Syria, ensuring coordination with relevant authorities and community leaders for effective implementation of SIF AAP policies.
•Ensure active participation and representation of SIF in AAP activities, coordination meetings, and events, sharing inputs, lessons learned, and best practices from projects.

Qualifications
-Minimum of three years of experience in the field of Accountability to Affected Population, Monitoring and evaluation, Protection in NGO environment
-Minimum of three years’ experience in CSP or PSEA policy implementation
-Bachelor’s degree in an area of social development, psychology or equivalent, or related field.
-Proven track record in delivering technical support for UN agencies funded projects
-Experience of providing technical guidance and expertise on AAP (CSP, PSEA or CFM)
-Experience in developing and implementation CFM
-Knowledge of international humanitarian system, accountability & technical standards (such as KCS, INEE, CPHA & CHS, IASC Guidelines on PSEA)
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation, and coaching.
-Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, and external partners.
-Values diversity as a source of competitive strength.

-Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner.
-Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions.
-Fluency in English, both verbal and written
