Responsibilities
Implement and oversee financial procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
Manage financial transactions, including budgeting, expenses, and financial reporting.
Work closely with HR Officer to align financial and HR processes, including payroll and benefits administration.
Collaborate with Logistic Officer to integrate financial controls into procurement and inventory management activities.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Assist the Operations team in maintaining proper records of all budgets.
Assist in realignment exercises as needed.
Monitor the program budgets and expenditures in the BVA.
Conduct a review of budgeting and actual expenditures and develop.
Analysis tool to better follow up on over/under spent of the grant.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management and donors.
Maintain detailed and accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and ledgers.
Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare documentation and assist in the coordination of internal and external audits.
Provide training and support to HR and Logistic Officers on financial processes and procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or similar first-level degree required. Advanced university degree in Finance, Accounting, or certification with a professional accounting body.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a finance supervisor at non–profit organization.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting on program financial performance.
Good level of English language (writing and speaking)
Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility.
Familiarity with the NGO system
Strong computing skills (Word processing and Excel).
The candidate must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
