Responsibilities
Contribute to analyses of the security, socioeconomic, cultural and political environment relevant to the ICRC, shares relevant information with team members, and reports any change in the situation.
Contribute to the design and implementation of projects.
Collect, compile and interpret protection-related information.
Analyse and contribute to written internal reporting and activity programming (as part of institutional exercises).
Develop and maintain contact with the authorities, local National Society branches, suppliers, etc.
Translate from Arabic to English and vice versa.
Qualifications
University degree
3 - 5 years work experience in a similar field
Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Good computer skills
Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment
Good analytical skills

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization, which has been permanently present in Syria since 1967. The ICRC works closely and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) organization to provide food, water, healthcare and other forms of relief assistance to people affected by the fighting. The ICRC also visits people detained and helps them to stay in contact with their families. This service is also provided to families separated as a result of the fighting.
